SLICED POTATOES IN THE AIR FRYER
Ingredients:
- 2 large potatoes (russet or Yukon gold work well)
- 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: your favorite herbs or spices (like paprika, garlic powder, or rosemary)
Instructions:
- Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt or debris. You can peel them if you prefer, but leaving the skin on adds extra texture and flavor.
- Slice the potatoes into thin rounds, about 1/4 inch thick. You can use a sharp knife or a mandoline slicer for even slices.
- Place the sliced potatoes in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss the potatoes to coat them evenly with the oil.
- Season the potatoes with salt, pepper, and any additional herbs or spices you like. Toss again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Once the air fryer is preheated, arrange the potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook the potatoes in the air fryer for 15-20 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooked, remove the potatoes from the air fryer and serve immediately as a delicious side dish or snack.
