SLICED POTATOES IN THE AIR FRYER

Ingredients:

  • 2 large potatoes (russet or Yukon gold work well)
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: your favorite herbs or spices (like paprika, garlic powder, or rosemary)

Instructions:

  1. Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt or debris. You can peel them if you prefer, but leaving the skin on adds extra texture and flavor.
  2. Slice the potatoes into thin rounds, about 1/4 inch thick. You can use a sharp knife or a mandoline slicer for even slices.
  3. Place the sliced potatoes in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss the potatoes to coat them evenly with the oil.
  4. Season the potatoes with salt, pepper, and any additional herbs or spices you like. Toss again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Once the air fryer is preheated, arrange the potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  7. Cook the potatoes in the air fryer for 15-20 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Once cooked, remove the potatoes from the air fryer and serve immediately as a delicious side dish or snack.
