Skinny Vanilla Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (1 block) reduced-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoons non-fat Greek yogurt (optional, for added creaminess)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the powdered sugar gradually, beating well after each addition. Adjust the amount of powdered sugar to achieve your desired level of sweetness.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Mix until well combined.
  4. If you prefer a creamier consistency, you can add 1-2 tablespoons of non-fat Greek yogurt and mix until smooth.
  5. Taste the frosting and adjust the sweetness or vanilla flavor if necessary.
  6. Once the desired consistency and flavor are achieved, use the frosting immediately or refrigerate until ready to use.
