1/2 cup (60g) protein powder (chocolate or vanilla flavor)
1/4 cup (60ml) milk (dairy or non-dairy)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup (90g) chocolate chips or chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the peanut butter, honey, and eggs until smooth and well combined.
Add Dry Ingredients: Add the cocoa powder, protein powder, milk, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt to the wet ingredients. Stir until everything is well mixed and smooth.
Add Mix-ins: Fold in the chocolate chips or nuts if using.
Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (do not overbake).
Cool and Serve: Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before cutting into squares.
Tips:
Protein Powder: Choose a protein powder you enjoy the taste of; a chocolate flavor works best for a rich chocolate brownie taste.
Sweetener: Adjust the amount of sweetener according to your preference, especially if your protein powder is already sweetened.
Storage: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week.
