Pizza Chaffles

I cannot believe how GOOD these are!! You won’t miss the crust AT ALL!!!
Low carb and you can change up the toppings for ENDLESS pizza goodness!! Yummy!!
RECIPE:
Chaffle Crust
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup light mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 tsp Italian Herb blend
- pinch garlic powder
Pizza Toppings
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup light mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 8 turkey pepperoni (optional)
- Preheat the waffle maker according to manufacturer instructions. Preheat the oven to 400.
- In a small mixing bowl, mix together egg, cheese, garlic, and herbs. Stir until well combined.
- If using a mini waffle maker, pour one half of the waffle batter into the waffle maker. (Use all of the batter for a large Belgian waffle maker.)
- Cook for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown. Repeat with the second half of the batter.
- Top the chaffle crusts with tomato sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. Place on a small baking sheet and bake in the oven until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
