Mini Milk Tart Tarts

Ingredients:

– 1 package of pre-made mini tart shells 🥟

– 1 can (400g) of condensed milk 🥛

– 1 cup of full-cream milk 🥛

– 1 tsp of vanilla extract 🌿

– 2 tbsp of cornflour 🌽

– 2 large eggs 🥚

– Ground cinnamon for sprinkling 🍂

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

2. In a saucepan, combine the condensed milk, full-cream milk, and vanilla extract. Heat gently, stirring occasionally.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cornflour and eggs until smooth.

4. Slowly add the warm milk mixture to the egg mixture, whisking constantly.

5. Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the custard thickens (about 5-7 minutes).

6. Remove from heat and pour the custard into the pre-baked mini tart shells.

7. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the tarts set.

8. Allow them to cool and then sprinkle with ground cinnamon before serving.

Tips:

– Make sure to constantly whisk the custard mixture to ensure a smooth texture.

– You can customize these mini tarts by adding a sprinkle of nutmeg or a drizzle of caramel sauce on top before serving.
