Mary Berry Condensed Milk Ice Cream for a Birthday Treat
Ingredients:
• 2 cups (480ml) heavy cream
• 1 can (14 oz/400g) sweetened condensed milk
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• Your favorite toppings or mix-ins (such as crushed cookies, sprinkles, chocolate chips, fruit, etc.)
Directions:
1. Whip the Cream: In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. This will give your ice cream a light and airy texture.
2. Combine Ingredients: In another bowl, mix together the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until well combined.
3. Fold Together: Gently fold the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture, being careful not to deflate the whipped cream. Mix until just combined.
4. Add Mix-Ins: If you’re using any mix-ins or toppings, fold them into the ice cream mixture now.
5. Freeze the Ice Cream: Pour the mixture into an airtight container and smooth the top. Cover with a lid or plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until solid.
6. Serve and Enjoy: Once frozen, scoop the ice cream into bowls or cones. Add additional toppings if desired and enjoy this creamy birthday treat!
