Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs (900g) chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar (or white vinegar)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil)
  • 1 tbsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional, for a hint of smokiness)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano (optional, for extra flavor)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat for easy cleanup.
  2. Prep the Wings: Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This helps them get crispy. If they’re not already separated, cut them into flats and drumettes.
  3. Season the Wings: In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil until they are well-coated. Sprinkle with sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika (if using), black pepper, and dried oregano. Toss again to ensure even coating.
  4. Bake the Wings: Spread the seasoned wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 35-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown. The exact time will depend on your oven and the size of the wings.
  5. Add Vinegar: Once the wings are crispy, remove them from the oven and immediately drizzle the apple cider vinegar over the wings. Toss gently to coat the wings in the vinegar.

Tips:

  • For extra crispy wings, you can bake them on a wire rack set over the baking sheet. This allows air to circulate around the wings and makes them even crispier.
