Keto Naan Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional, for flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter or ghee (for brushing)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Dough
    In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder (if using). Mix well.
  2. Add Wet Ingredients
    Add the Greek yogurt and egg to the dry mixture. Stir until a sticky dough forms. Let the dough sit for about 5 minutes to allow the flour to absorb the moisture.
  3. Divide the Dough
    Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball, then flatten it with your hands or a rolling pin to form naan-shaped rounds (about 1/4 inch thick).
  4. Cook the Naan
    Heat a non-stick skillet or frying pan over medium heat. Add a bit of butter or ghee to the pan. Place one naan in the pan and cook for about 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining naans.
  5. Brush and Serve
    Brush the cooked naans with melted butter or ghee for extra flavor. Serve warm with your favorite keto dishes, curries, or dips!

Tips:

  • For a softer texture, you can add a pinch of psyllium husk powder to the dough.
  • You can add herbs like cilantro or parsley to the dough for added flavor.
