Keto Garlic BBQ Ribs

Ingredients:
- 1 rack of pork ribs
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup sugar-free BBQ sauce (look for a low-carb option)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
- Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Ribs:
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Season the ribs generously with salt and pepper.
- Cook the Ribs:
- Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
- Cover the ribs with another sheet of foil and seal the edges to create a packet.
- Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until they are tender.
- Make the BBQ Sauce:
- While the ribs are cooking, prepare the BBQ sauce.
- In a small saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in the sugar-free BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).
- Simmer the sauce for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.
- Finish the Ribs:
- Once the ribs are tender, remove them from the oven.
- Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C).
- Brush the ribs generously with the BBQ sauce, reserving some for serving.
- Return the ribs to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and sticky.
- Serve:
- Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Cut the ribs into individual portions and garnish with chopped parsley or cilantro.
- Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side….
