Keto French fries

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium zucchinis (or 1 large potato substitute like turnip or radish for more “fries” texture)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare the zucchini: Wash the zucchinis and cut off the ends. Slice them into fry-shaped strips about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. (If you’re using turnips or radishes, you can follow the same process.)
  3. Season the fries: In a large bowl, toss the zucchini slices with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Make sure each slice is evenly coated.
  4. Arrange on a baking sheet: Place the seasoned fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  5. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are golden and crispy on the edges.
  6. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve with your favorite keto-friendly dipping sauce like a creamy garlic dip or sugar-free ketchup.
