HAMBURGER MUSHROOM BAKE

Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown the ground beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
- Add onions, garlic, and mushrooms: To the skillet, add the diced onion, minced garlic, and sliced mushrooms. Cook until the onions are translucent and mushrooms are softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Make the sauce: Stir in the tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Combine with sour cream: Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the sour cream until well combined.
- Transfer to baking dish: Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
- Top with cheese: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve hot.
