Fried rice the easy way


You will need 2 cups of dry rice, cooked with 4 cups of water or broth.
Then you’ll need 2 bags of the frozen peas and carrots blend from Walmart (not sponsored) or 20oz of a different brand. You can also get the peas and carrots with the corn and green beans too. That one is called the Mixed Veggies blend.
In a large skillet (or in 2 batches) you’ll add the veggies and cook until defrosted but not fully cooked.
Add the rice and mix.
Add soy sauce to your liking.
You can also add chopped onions and/or ginger, cardamom, garlic and onion powders, and salt for a bit of extra flavor.
If meal prepping, aside to cool in a large bowl.
If doing half and half, do one bag of veggies and 1/2 of the rice (about 2 cups, cooked). Make it in two batches. Add the batches to a large bowl and stir so everything is evenly mixed together. This also helps in case you soy sauced one batch a little heavier so when you mix it, it evens itself out.
