Easy and Delicious Baked Rolled Tacos
What You’ll Need
- 2 cups taco meat, cooked
- 2 cups chicken breast, cooked & shredded
- Red and/or green salsa
- Mexican blend cheese, shredded
- 1-2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Flour or corn tortillas
- Sour cream, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and cheese for serving
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat and Prepare
- Preheat your oven to 450 degrees and lightly coat a baking dish with nonstick spray.
- In two separate bowls, mix the taco meat with 3-4 tablespoons of red or green salsa.
Step 2: Roll and Fill
- Take a tortilla and place a spoonful of the meat mixture and a sprinkle of cheese near one end of the tortilla.
- Roll the tortilla tightly and place it seam side down in the baking dish.
Step 3: Brush and Bake
- Lightly brush vegetable oil over the top of each roll to help them turn golden and crispy.
- Bake the rolled tacos for 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown.
Step 4: Serve and Enjoy
- Remove the tacos from the oven and place them on a paper towel-lined plate if any excess oil needs to be drained.
- Serve the baked rolled tacos with your favorite toppings like sour cream, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and more
