Dot Nougat candy
Ingredients:
- 3 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup chopped nuts (such as peanuts or almonds)
- 2 cups chocolate chips (milk or dark chocolate)
Instructions:
- Line a baking dish or tray with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the mini marshmallows and peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until the marshmallows and peanut butter are melted and well combined. Be careful not to overheat.
- Once the marshmallow-peanut butter mixture is smooth, stir in the chopped nuts until evenly distributed.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly using a spatula or the back of a spoon. Press down gently to compact the mixture.
- In another microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until smooth and fully melted.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the nougat mixture in the baking dish, spreading it out evenly to cover the entire surface.
- Place the baking dish in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate has set.
- Once the chocolate has set, remove the nougat slab from the baking dish using the parchment paper or foil overhang. Use a sharp knife to cut the slab into bars or squares.
- Serve and enjoy your Four Ingredient Nougat Bars! Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
