Dot Nougat candy

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (such as peanuts or almonds)
  • 2 cups chocolate chips (milk or dark chocolate)

Instructions:

  1. Line a baking dish or tray with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the mini marshmallows and peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until the marshmallows and peanut butter are melted and well combined. Be careful not to overheat.
  3. Once the marshmallow-peanut butter mixture is smooth, stir in the chopped nuts until evenly distributed.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly using a spatula or the back of a spoon. Press down gently to compact the mixture.
  5. In another microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until smooth and fully melted.
  6. Pour the melted chocolate over the nougat mixture in the baking dish, spreading it out evenly to cover the entire surface.
  7. Place the baking dish in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate has set.
  8. Once the chocolate has set, remove the nougat slab from the baking dish using the parchment paper or foil overhang. Use a sharp knife to cut the slab into bars or squares.
  9. Serve and enjoy your Four Ingredient Nougat Bars! Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
