- Cook for 30 minutes in the Actifry, then set them aside.
- Add the onions, peppers, bacon, remaining Cajun seasoning and Worcestershire sauce to the air fryer. Spray with some low calorie cooking spray and cook for 10 minutes.
- Return the chips and cook for 1 minute, then remove the paddle and sprinkle the cheese over the top of the chips.
- Cook for 1 minute and serve.
OVEN METHOD
- Pre heat the oven to 200°C. Then cut the potatoes into chips. There’s no need to peel them.
- Place them in a pan of boiling salted water and simmer until they start to soften but are still quite firm.
- Drain the potatoes and spray a baking tray with low calorie cooking spray. Coat the potatoes in low calorie cooking spray and sprinkle them with a little salt and half of the Cajun seasoning.
- Place in the oven for 20-30 minutes until they are soft and starting to colour.
- Meanwhile, spray a frying pan with a generous amount of low calorie cooking spray, then add the chopped peppers, bacon, onions, Worcestershire sauce and remaining Cajun seasoning.
- Cook for a few minutes until they start to soften. When the chips are cooked and browned, add them to the frying pan and stir well.
- Place the contents into an oven proof dish and cook in the oven for 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese has melted. Then serve.
