Delicious Ham and Cheese Crescent Rolls
Ingredients:
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 slices ham
- 4 slices Swiss cheese, each cut into halves
- Dijon mustard (optional, for spreading)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional, for drizzling)
- Sesame seeds or poppy seeds (optional, for sprinkling)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the crescent roll dough package.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
- If using Dijon mustard, spread a small amount on each crescent triangle.
- Place a slice of ham on the wide end of each triangle and top it with half a slice of Swiss cheese.
- Roll each crescent triangle, starting from the wide end, enclosing the ham and cheese.
- Place the rolled crescents on a baking sheet, leaving space between them.
- Brush the tops of the crescents with melted butter. If desired, drizzle honey over the top for added sweetness.
- Optional: Sprinkle sesame seeds or poppy seeds on top for added flavor and texture.
- Bake in the preheated oven according to the crescent roll dough package instructions, usually until they are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
