Delicious Ham and Cheese Crescent Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 slices ham
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese, each cut into halves
  • Dijon mustard (optional, for spreading)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional, for drizzling)
  • Sesame seeds or poppy seeds (optional, for sprinkling)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the crescent roll dough package.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  3. If using Dijon mustard, spread a small amount on each crescent triangle.
  4. Place a slice of ham on the wide end of each triangle and top it with half a slice of Swiss cheese.
  5. Roll each crescent triangle, starting from the wide end, enclosing the ham and cheese.
  6. Place the rolled crescents on a baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  7. Brush the tops of the crescents with melted butter. If desired, drizzle honey over the top for added sweetness.
  8. Optional: Sprinkle sesame seeds or poppy seeds on top for added flavor and texture.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven according to the crescent roll dough package instructions, usually until they are golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
