Crispy Air Fryer Chickpeas

Ingredients:
- 1 can (15 ounces) of chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
- 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Seasonings of your choice (e.g., salt, pepper, paprika, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, or any other favorite spices)
Instructions:
- Start by preheating your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas thoroughly, then pat them dry with paper towels. The drier they are, the crispier they will become.
- Place the chickpeas in a mixing bowl and toss them with 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil. Make sure they are evenly coated with the oil.
- Season the chickpeas with your choice of spices. You can go as simple as just salt and pepper or get creative with a combination of flavors.
- Once the chickpeas are well-coated with oil and seasonings, transfer them to the preheated air fryer basket. Spread them out evenly to ensure even cooking.
- Cook the chickpeas in the air fryer for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket or tossing the chickpeas halfway through the cooking time. The exact time may vary depending on your air fryer model, so keep a close eye on them to prevent overcooking. The chickpeas should become crispy and golden brown.
- Once the chickpeas are done, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes before enjoying. They’ll become even crispier as they cool.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container to maintain their crispiness.
