Creamed Chicken and Biscuits Casserole

Ingredients
  • 1 ½ tsp butter1 small onion, chopped2 pounds of cooked chicken, cut or shredded1 can of cream of chicken soup½ cup mayonnaise1 cup of milk½ cup roasted red pepper, chopped1 ½ cup cheddar cheese, mild1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • How To Make Creamed Chicken and Biscuits CasseroleFIRST STEP:

    Preheat the oven to 350*Grease the bottom and the sides of a baking dish

    SECOND STEP:

    Heat the butter in a skillet and add the onionSaute until the onion begins to soften

    THIRD STEP:

    When done add the onion to the chicken, milk, red peppers and mayonnaisePour into the prepared baking dish

    FOURTH STEP:

    Bake for 15 minutes and then remove from the ovenSprinkle with 1 cup of the cheese and then layer the biscuits over the cheese

    FIFTH STEP:

    Sprinkle with the remaining cheeseReturn the baking dish to the oven and bake for another 20 minutes or until golden brown

    SIXTH STEP:

    Let sit for a few minutes before serving.This can be a meal in itself or you could make a dinner salad to go with this dish.
