Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup chicken broth or water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and chicken broth (or water) until well combined. Set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
- Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Once the chicken is cooked, add the broccoli florets to the skillet. Stir to combine with the chicken.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and broccoli. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low and let the sauce simmer for a few minutes, until it thickens and coats the chicken and broccoli.
- Once the sauce has thickened and the broccoli is tender but still crisp, remove the skillet from the heat.
- Serve the chicken and broccoli hot over cooked rice.
