Cheddar Ranch Chicken Burge

Ingredients

For the Chicken Patties

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For Assembling the Burgers

  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Red onion slices
  • Additional ranch dressing (for topping)
  • Pickles (optional)

Instructions

Making the Chicken Patties

  1. Prepare the Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, parsley (if using), minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the Patties: Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties. Ensure the patties are even in thickness for uniform cooking.
  3. Cook the Patties: Preheat a grill, grill pan, or skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken patties for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

Assembling the Burgers

  1. Prepare the Buns: Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
  2. Assemble the Burgers: Spread a little ranch dressing on the bottom bun. Add lettuce, tomato slices, and red onion slices. Place the cooked chicken patty on top, followed by more ranch dressing if desired. Add pickles if you like, then cover with the top bun.

Serving

  1. Serve: Serve the burgers immediately with your favorite sides, such as fries or a salad.
