Ingredients:

– 1 cup warm water

– 2 1/4 tsp yeast

– 1/4 cup honey

– 1/4 cup oil

– 1 1/2 tsp salt

– 1 cup quick oats

– 3 1/2 – 4 cups flour

Directions:

1. In a large bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.

2. Stir in honey, oil, salt, and quick oats.

3. Gradually add flour, one cup at a time, stirring until dough forms a soft ball.

4. Turn dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

5. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

6. Punch down dough and shape into a loaf. Place in a greased loaf pan, cover, and let rise for an additional 30 minutes.

7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

8. Bake bread for 30-35 minutes, until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

9. Remove from oven and let cool before slicing. Enjoy!

Tips:

– Make sure the water is warm, not hot, to activate the yeast properly.

– Adjust the amount of flour as needed to achieve the right consistency of the dough.

– Brush the top of the loaf with melted butter for a shiny finish.
