Air frying sausage and potatoes

Air frying sausage and potatoes is a quick and easy recipe that’s perfect for sharing on a Facebook page. It’s a delicious and satisfying dish that can be enjoyed for breakfast, brunch, or dinner. Here’s a simple recipe you can use:

Ingredients:

4-5 sausages (your choice of sausage, such as Italian, bratwurst, or breakfast sausage)

4 cups of potatoes, diced into bite-sized pieces

1 onion, thinly sliced (optional)

2-3 cloves garlic, minced (optional)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon dried rosemary (or your favorite herb)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat the Air Fryer:Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for a few minutes.

Prepare the Sausage and Potatoes:In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced potatoes, sliced onions (if using), minced garlic (if using), olive oil, dried rosemary, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together until the potatoes are evenly coated with the oil and seasonings.

Cook the Sausage:Place the sausages in the preheated air fryer basket. You can either leave them whole or pierce them with a fork a few times to prevent them from bursting.

Air fry the sausages at 380°F (190°C) for about 8-12 minutes, turning them halfway through, until they are browned and cooked through. The cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the sausages and your specific air fryer model.

Add the Potatoes:After the sausages have cooked for a few minutes, add the seasoned potatoes to the air fryer basket. Spread them out in a single layer.

Continue Cooking:Continue air frying the sausage and potatoes together at 380°F (190°C) for an additional 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket or tossing the potatoes occasionally, until the potatoes are crispy and the sausages are fully cooked and browned.

Serve:Once everything is cooked to your desired level of crispiness, transfer the sausage and potatoes to a serving plate.

Garnish and Enjoy:Garnish with fresh herbs or additional seasoning if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
