Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 8 ounces (225g) mushrooms, cleaned and halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine the steak cubes, mushrooms, olive oil, minced garlic, dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, and pepper. Toss until the steak and mushrooms are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
- Place the seasoned steak and mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they’re not overcrowded. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook the steak and mushrooms in the air fryer for about 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking. For medium-rare steak, cook for about 8 minutes, or adjust the cooking time according to your desired level of doneness.
- Once the steak and mushrooms are cooked to your liking, remove them from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving dish. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
- Serve the air fryer steak bites and mushrooms hot as a delicious appetizer, side dish, or main course. They pair well with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad….
