Air fryer pizza bagels

Ingredients:

  • 4 bagels (sliced in half)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Pepperoni slices (or your favorite pizza toppings)
  • Olive oil (optional, for brushing)
  • Dried oregano (optional, for seasoning)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Bagels:
    • Slice the bagels in half if they are not already pre-sliced.
    • If desired, lightly brush the bagel halves with olive oil for extra crispiness.
  3. Add the Sauce and Cheese:
    • Spread a generous amount of pizza sauce on each bagel half.
    • Sprinkle a good amount of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
  4. Add Toppings:
    • Place pepperoni slices or any other preferred toppings on top of the cheese.
  5. Cook in the Air Fryer:
    • Arrange the bagel halves in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook them in batches.
    • Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the bagels are crispy.
  6. Season and Serve:
    • If desired, sprinkle dried oregano on top of the cooked pizza bagels.
    • Let them cool slightly before serving.

Tips:

  • Customize your pizza bagels with different toppings like mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, sausage, or any other favorites.
  • Be mindful of the air fryer capacity. Overcrowding can result in uneven cooking.
  • Keep an eye on the bagels while they cook to prevent over-browning.
