Additional Time: 2 minutes minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes minutes
Ingredients
▢ 5 Italian sausages
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit.
When the air fryer is hot, add the Italian Sausages. Remember to leave some space between them to allow for even cooking and browning.
Cook the sausages for 10-13 minutes (this can vary by air fryer and the thickness of the Italian sausage). Remember to flip the sausages at the halfway mark (after about 7 minutes in the air fryer). The internal temperature of the sausages should be 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
Once cooked through, remove the Italian Sausages from the air fryer. You can serve them with fried potatoes, white rice, grilled peppers, or in a crusty bun with your favorite condiments!
Notes
There are many brands out there that make Italian Sausages. We used Johnsonville mild Italian sausages and they cooked really nicely in the air fryer.
When making sausages with a higher fat content in the air fryer, there is a chance of white smoke coming out of the air fryer. To reduce the likelihood of this, it’s important to use a clean air fryer. Also, be sure to watch the air fryer as the sausages cook – especially if you’re making these sausages in the air fryer for the first time. These sausages didn’t cause any problems in our air fryer – but every air fryer is slightly different!
