Air Fryer Hard Boiled Eggs

Ingredients:

  • Eggs (as many as you need)
  • Ice water (for cooling the eggs)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 270°F (130°C). Preheating usually takes about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Eggs:
    • Place the eggs directly in the air fryer basket. Ensure they are not touching each other for even cooking.
  3. Cook the Eggs:
    • For hard boiled eggs, set the timer for 15-17 minutes. The exact time may vary slightly depending on your air fryer model and the size of the eggs. Start with 15 minutes, and if they are not to your liking, you can adjust in future attempts.
  4. Cool the Eggs:
    • Once the eggs are done, immediately transfer them to a bowl of ice water. Let them sit in the ice water for about 5-10 minutes. This stops the cooking process and makes them easier to peel.
  5. Peel and Serve:
    • After the eggs have cooled, peel them under running water to remove the shells easily.

Tips:

  • Testing for Doneness: If you’re unsure about the doneness, you can test one egg after cooking by cutting it open to see if it’s cooked to your preference.
  • Adjusting for Altitude: If you live at a higher altitude, you may need to increase the cooking time slightly.
