Air fryer FRITTATA

Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk or cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chopped vegetables (such as bell peppers, onions, spinach, mushrooms, etc.)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • Optional: cooked meat such as bacon or sausage

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk or cream, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Add the chopped vegetables and shredded cheese to the egg mixture and stir until evenly distributed.
  4. If using cooked meat, crumble or chop it into small pieces and add it to the egg mixture as well.
  5. Grease the air fryer basket or tray with a little oil or cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  6. Pour the egg mixture into the greased air fryer basket or tray, spreading it out evenly.
  7. Place the basket or tray into the preheated air fryer and cook for 12-15 minutes, or until the frittata is set and lightly golden on top.
  8. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick or knife into the center of the frittata. If it comes out clean, the frittata is ready.
  9. Once cooked, carefully remove the frittata from the air fryer and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
  10. Serve the frittata warm, either on its own or with a side salad or crusty bread.
