Air Fryer Recipes
Air fryer fried chicken

Ingredients:
- Chicken pieces (such as drumsticks, thighs, or wings)
- Buttermilk
- Flour
- Seasonings (salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, or your preferred seasonings)
- Cooking spray or oil (for coating the chicken)
Instructions:
- Marinate the chicken:
- Place the chicken pieces in a bowl and pour buttermilk over them. This helps to tenderize the chicken and add flavor. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes, or even overnight for best results.
- Prepare the coating:
- In a separate bowl, mix flour and your desired seasonings. You can adjust the seasonings to suit your taste preferences. A common mixture includes salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne for a bit of heat.
- Preheat the air fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to the recommended temperature for frying (usually around 375-400°F or 190-200°C).
- Coat the chicken:
- Remove a piece of chicken from the buttermilk and let any excess liquid drip off.
- Roll the chicken piece in the seasoned flour mixture, making sure it’s evenly coated. Press the coating onto the chicken to help it adhere.
- Air fry the chicken:
- Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray or a small amount of oil to prevent sticking.
- Place the coated chicken pieces in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them for even cooking.
- Cook the chicken at the preheated temperature for about 20-25 minutes, flipping the pieces halfway through the cooking time. The exact cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer and the size of the chicken pieces. The chicken is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and has a crispy, golden-brown crust.
- Serve:
- Once the chicken is cooked to perfection, remove it from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
