Air Fryer Caramelized Bananas

Ripe bananas get a sprinkling of cinnamon sugar, which caramelizes and turns into a sweet glaze in the air fryer. You can eat them straight out of the air fryer or top them with ice cream, whipped cream, hot fudge sauce, or caramel drizzle.

INGREDIENTS

3 bananas
4 ½ tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
INSTRUCTIONS

In a small bowl, stir the brown sugar and cinnamon together.
Without peeling the bananas, cut each in half long ways.
Line the air fryer basket with a parchment paper liner.
Arrange the banana halves, cut side up, in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may have to cook the bananas in 2 batches.
Sprinkle about 1 ½ tablespoons of the brown sugar-cinnamon mixture evenly over each banana half.
Cook in the air fryer at 400°F for about 10 minutes, until the topping is browned and bubbling.
