Air fryer baked potatoes
Ingredients
- 2–4 medium-sized russet potatoes
- 1–2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- ½ teaspoon black pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Prep the Potatoes:
- Wash and scrub the potatoes to remove dirt. Pat them dry with a towel.
- Using a fork, poke several holes all over each potato to allow steam to escape.
- Season:
- Rub each potato with olive oil, ensuring they’re evenly coated.
- Sprinkle salt (and pepper if desired) all over the potatoes for seasoning.
- Preheat Air Fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.
- Cook:
- Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching for even air circulation.
- Cook for 35–45 minutes, flipping the potatoes halfway through. (Cooking time depends on the size of the potatoes—pierce with a fork to check doneness.)
- Finish:
- Once cooked, remove the potatoes from the air fryer. Let them rest for 2–3 minutes.
- Slice open, fluff the inside with a fork, and top with your favorite toppings!
Topping Ideas
- Classic: Butter, sour cream, shredded cheese, green onions.
- Loaded: Crumbled bacon, cheddar, chives, and ranch dressing.
- Healthy: Greek yogurt, steamed broccoli, and a sprinkle of paprika.
