Air fryer baby back pork ribs without barbecue sauce

Ingredients:

1 rack of baby back pork ribs
2 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to your preferred level of spiciness)
Cooking spray or oil for the air fryer basket
Instructions:
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
While the air fryer is preheating, prepare the ribs. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs if it’s still attached. You can do this by using a paper towel to get a good grip on the membrane and pull it away from the ribs.
In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to create your dry rub.
Pat the ribs dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps the dry rub adhere better to the meat.
Rub the dry spice mixture evenly all over the ribs, making sure to coat both sides.
Lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray or a small amount of oil to prevent sticking.
Place the seasoned ribs in the air fryer basket. You might need to cut the rack of ribs in half or into smaller pieces to fit, depending on the size of your air fryer.
Cook the ribs in the preheated air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 25-30 minutes. Flip the ribs halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking.
The cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of your ribs and the specific air fryer model. The ribs are done when they are tender and the internal temperature reaches at least 145°F (63°C).
If you prefer your ribs to have a slightly crispy exterior, you can increase the temperature to 400°F (200°C) for the last 5-10 minutes of cooking.
Once done, remove the ribs from the air fryer, let them rest for a few minutes, and then slice them between the bones to serve.
