Air Fryer Apple Pie rolls

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 medium-sized apples (any sweet variety like Fuji or Gala), peeled, cored, and diced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the diced apples, melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Spoon a tablespoon of the apple mixture onto each triangle of dough.
  5. Roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end, and tuck the ends under to seal.
  6. Place the apple pie rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving some space between them.
  7. Cook the rolls in the air fryer for about 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Once done, remove the apple pie rolls from the air fryer and let them cool slightly.
  9. Dust the rolls with powdered sugar if desired.
  10. Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side for extra indulgence.
