Air fryer Stuffed cheese ball
Ingredients:
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Optional: Small pieces of cooked bacon, jalapeños, or herbs for stuffing
Instructions:
- Prepare the cheese filling:
- In a bowl, mix mozzarella, cream cheese, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add optional stuffing like bacon or jalapeños for extra flavor.
- Form the mixture into small balls (1-2 inches in diameter) and freeze for 15 minutes to firm up.
- Set up the breading station:
- Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Coat the cheese balls:
- Roll each ball in flour, dip it in egg, and coat it with breadcrumbs.
- Repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating for a thicker crust if desired.
- Air fry the cheese balls:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly spray the cheese balls with cooking spray and arrange them in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve:
- Allow the cheese balls to cool slightly before serving.
- Serve with marinara sauce, ranch, or your favorite dipping sauce.
