Keto Eggwiches

Ingredients:

  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 slices of cooked bacon (or your preferred protein, such as sausage)
  • 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite keto-friendly cheese)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Avocado slices, spinach, or other veggies for extra flavor

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Bacon: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, then set aside.
  2. Cook the Eggs: In the same skillet, you can either scramble or fry the eggs. For fried eggs, crack the eggs into the skillet and cook them to your desired doneness. You can cover the pan to help cook the top of the egg if you like it less runny. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Assemble the Eggwiches:
    • Place one egg on a plate.
    • Top it with a slice of cheese, followed by a slice of bacon.
    • Optionally, add some spinach or avocado for extra flavor and nutrients.
    • Place the second egg on top, creating a sandwich.
  4. Serve: Repeat for the second serving, and serve the Keto Eggwiches immediately.
